Tahir, have you seen lupins in the nurseries of your area? mean to say that in Karachi they dont grow well and never bloom, so none of the nurseries carry them..

Izhar bhai i have never asked from any nurseries, they might have them i'll check.. but the seeds are readily available from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore so there are chances that nurseries also carry them.

Lahore weather doesn't really suit lupins they do germinate from seed but making then bloom is another battle 2/12 bloomed for me but the weak blooms were not worth the effort haven't attempted growing them after the experience

i have tried Lupin Russel hybrids so many time but i don,t either they are not suited to or climate or i am not a good gardener.i failed to gain the perfection of Lupin Russel.mostly rust is the main cause of death or weakness in Lupins.now i do not try this plant any more.

LUPINS is no success in this weather of PAKISTAN, they germinate 100% but grows very slowly for me and when summer arrives they are short of growth to produce flowers.
