I am working on a project of ponadarium (pond cum aquarium) and will use its water for the drip irrigation. An overhead tank would be build on the roof and connections will be laid in such a way that every part could have a direct supply. Here is the progress, its 9' x 4' x 8' and will carry around 2000 gallons water:

OK.Let's talk about material that can be used.Umm any idea how to armour the wall so that water doesn't affect?

Coal tar!!! but a simple plastic sheet can be used..

lol i think hes making a pond/aquarium not the living wall yet ! and hes going to recycle the pond water for the walls irrigation :)

There could be pots or no pots, it will depend on your own perception and aesthetics, I am thinking of wire made half baskets lined with coco fiber, or precast slabs / pots fitted on the wall, a double layered Jute sheet with potting soil filled in..... there could be many alternatives....
