In the words of famous poetess Parveen Shakir- Allah bless her in eternal peace:
“Rang bateen karein aur baton say khushbu aaye”
Regardless, Colours do charm a person, like fragrance, even if less.Let us then speak to/about the colours of garden plants.
We know that there is a good number of plants known & reared for the exotic colours of their foliage, rather than their flowers or fragrance.Wouldn’t it be nice if we take a stock of all such locally available plants for the interest & knowledge of all members?
Here as a first step,I post the images taken by me of some of such plants- please indicate if there be any wrong name:
Caladium
Croton

Euphorbia Cotinifolia/Lall Jharri
Some Dracaenas/Cordylines also have coloured foliage, but presently they are not in proper colours. Can be added later.
Then, there may be a number of other coloured foliage plants,as also a wide range of colours of the above plants, which may be added by whoever has them,in order to complete the catalogue.
Hope you enjoy the colours.

The purple foliage plant is Oxalis triangularis or purple clover.

What mistake have I made & can someone kindly rectify it?
I opened a 'New Topic' to upload 6 posts with images of subject plants in succession in one thread.Instead, they have all appeared separately as individual threads, though with the same subject title. How could I have done it ? Can somebody put them together,as they serve little pupose separately?
