What additives do you use in the tap water for pools? Tap water supplied by city water boards is already chlorinated to some extent. Free chlorine in potable water is eventually converted into harmless chlorides (our table salt) along with very very small amounts of pretty toxic compounds so called as the halo-acetic acids. The latter is a big issue in the West.fa113nang311 wrote:http://www.spectrumanalytic.com/support ... Plants.htm

Re: Chlorine in Pool Water and Nearby Plants
aoa,
i have a small pool holding around 12000 gallons of water which i chlorinate from time to time with a slightly expensive edible chlorine.... and after 15 days i empty it by using the water to water the plants and vegetables. so far i had no noticeable issue with them.
thnx
