Why do u think indoor plants have a different potting mix?
The amendments we use in soil r mainly dependent on the nutrient richness of the soil, and the drainage factor with respect to the particular plants' need for both.
Sansievaria and pachira, for example, will survive in any type of soil provided they r not flooded with water...
Lucky bamboo will appreciate soil medium that holds plenty of water...
Adeniums (outdoor full-sun plant) likes free draining nutrient poor soil...

I think it should be more fluffy because indoors plants are not strong as out door with more sun light. For indoor plants we cannot add manure or other compost to avoid invitation to unwanted bugs, drainage should be very good, cause without sun light it will take much more time to dry will result in rotting. but yes maybe you are right it will not make any difference, thanks for reply :)
