AOA,
a few years back i had a mint plant which was gifted to me by someone from medina. it survived for seven years and then died. the thing is the plants had some sweetness to it. which was lovely to eat. unlike the ones availible in karachi with the vegetable vendors. they are bitter in taste and very dark in colour. can u tell me where i can find a mint plant in karachi which has light green leaves and sweet in taste

You can try your luck different sabziwalas (may be Sunday bazaar). I saw two types of paudina...one whose leaves are severely wrinkled (the commonly available one) and one with relatively flat leaf surface and the leaf edges are round. The latter paudina is of very good quality.

Once you find it, you can simply buy the stems in soil.

I was also gifted this Medina Plant and its flourishing.If only you could pick it from Peshawar i will be glad to gift.
