First blooms after the prune.
These two were my first blooms and I pruned this plant early- so blooms are smaller. night temps have gone quite low. Others still look like sticks.

Re: First blooms after the prune.
Mustansir, because Karachi is a frost free and warm climate, we need to force rose plants into a rest period or dormancy.
What I do is:
1. I prune in last week of October or 1st week of November. I leave only 5-7 strong green canes. Remove weak ones, and dead diseased parts. Then I remove all the leaves and burn them (so if any disease it gets destroyed with the leaves).
2. Then I spray a strong fungicide, sulfur, to kill any remaining fungus.
2. Then I don't water for 15 to 20 days. Aim is to dry the soil gradually so plant rests.
3. After that, I add khaad (gobar ki), with some Epsom salts, and light fertilizer and water heavily and thoroughly for two days.
4. And then after about 7 days roses start to show growth. right now they're still dormant.
Arif sb., amaryllis bloom in february to march but this one plant I am blessed with mashAllah blooms every two months. I have notice that I have not changed its pot for two years and maybe it is the rootbound plant which forces it to bloom? I don't really know.

All of them Mustansir. but with grafted, after they start growth they start producing suckers so remove them.
