Re: URGENT HELP FOR BULB SOWING..
it is normal when a bulb is sprouting the soil above it starts to show cracks, moreover, as a general rule sow the bulb twice the depth of its size means if a bulb is one inch size then sow it at a depth of 2 inch, however few like Hycinths, Nerines, daffodils are exceptions.

Re: URGENT HELP FOR BULB SOWING..
Do not disturb the bulb once the roots have started growing, the roots of gladz grow in two phases, at first the roots grow from the base of the planted corm but as soon as the new growth appears it start forming the new corm which is on the top of old one, the new corm grows roots which pull the plant deeper naturally, so let them grow naturally from now on..

Re: URGENT HELP FOR BULB SOWING..
Dear,
My experience with tubers, rizomes, bulbs is that i never watered them unless they are completely dry, i usually check from the bottom pot hole to see any moisture there or use a stick to dip in soil and check any moisture existing, i believe if you are in RYK it is a little early to sow bulbs, i have spent 2 years in Gotmmachi/ DAharki and i usually sow the spring seeds and bulbs in mid november. Keep in mind bulbusous plants shall come out when the temperatures suit them, it doesn't matter how much you water will only results in rotting. They should not be treated like seeds which needs a continuous wet soil.
