@ BRig. Sb : For Lahore although Glads will do well if planted by end Oct, my general experience of GLads planting is mid Nov., they will bloom exactly after 3 months , ..... but corms should be healthy 8-)

After the season is over Can they be left in the ground or in the pot or is it best to remove them and store Adnan?

Dilawar owner of Gulkar Cut Flower Florist corner shop in front of Mini-Market's roundabout grows Gladiolus on his farm near Pattoki. People interested to grow Glads can get in touch with him. I believe his father looks after the farm and would be able to guide better.
Glads only make an impact in grown en-masse and are sensitive to soil PH and maybe not bloom on a regular basis unlike Amaryllis who despite even neglect bloom atleast once. However i do not wish to discourage people from growing them and they are advised to seek input from Dilawar's father. The cost of glad corm is around Rs 4 and seed shops tend to sell them around Rs 20-25.

I had a one year research project on some eight glad varieties and many of them performed well. Now I am planning to import some 20,000 corms for my long term research from VWS Holland. I have some 400 corms produced from last year crop, If any one needs for free can tell me. Varieties I have are Red Balance, White prosperity and Yellow Flevo Breezer. Red Balance resulted in highest number of florets for me.
