Re: Glads in pots
Thank you sir, for the correction. It looks, best period to plant them is 15 Nov-1 Dec.I planted mine around 6 Nov in the ground, which are about the same hieght as ur 15 Nov group.I intend planting another lot at the end of the month; hope they too do alright.

Re: Glads in pots
These were planted on 1/12/13 and so far there is no difference in growth from those in pot.Syed Adnan wrote:What is the status of the ones planted in ground if any .
Munir Bhai, will the blooming be staggered or will they end up blooming at the same time?

Re: Glads in pots
Sir, I am not neither an expert nor have any significant previous experience of growing glads, but my guess is that they should be blooming staggered, though a little less than their planting stagger. We must keep the record of the growth progress & the results of the current venture for future ref. Good luck!Muhammad Arif Khan wrote: Munir Bhai, will the blooming be staggered or will they end up blooming at the same time?

I have purchased some corms of Glads from Awan seeds store Rawalpindi. Please suggest me when & how to grow them. They are quite small about 1".

Re: Glads in pots
@yasir: 1 inch is small size , they may gain the energy and size and bloom next year....I have the same case with me ..... after 2 years the Glads started blooming if size is small. note that size is propotaional to age.
