Hold water for a month, then start watering as usual...

I am growing 6 varieties :D but only Grandiflora is in bloom right now.

Also got yellow zephyranthes citrina and Zephyranthes candida the white one. All in soil bed. They should bloom any time now.

The other i have are z.primulina, z.labuffarosa, z.drummondii. All in soil bed as well as in pots. Infact i also got their cousin childanthus fragrans another amaryllis family bulb but with fragrance :)

Drown them in water as much as you can all the day. They will bloom.

from Wikipedia:

This can be a good thing if you let them dry a week or so between watering. The cycle of drying then watering encourages them to send forth bewitching flowers.

From khabbab-pedia:
Drown them as much as possible to make them bloom :D :D :D

Actually we both are correct. They need 2 steps to bloom.
1- Lots of water - the drowning. Not just water twice a day. Water should be standing!!!! Dont worry nothing will happen to bulbs.
2- After a day or two. Let them dry. Do not water all.

If they do not bloom, repeat both steps. Last option is to give them a shave ;)
