I grew two bushes of Glamis Castle at my place. The bush is very round and balanced. The most stunning thing about Glamis Castle is that the scent does not go off even in hot sun. I was really impressed to see this rose flowering profusely in Okara's hot climate, without any effect on the quantity and quality of scent. A highly recommended DA for hot climates.

Snowfire has been a good performer during hot summers. The bush survived the hot weather pretty well though the flower size reduced drastically. However, it is unfair to expect a rose to flower very well during such hot weather. We should rather be looking at bush's ability to survive hot dry weather during May, June and July. Any rose which is capable of doing that is fit for our hot areas.

Note: A similar looking rose is named as Eternally Yours'

Heirloom has been my best performing purple rose and I'm growing Fragrant Cloud, Big Purple and Ebb Tide. It's only from a rooted cutting last year and this small plant with thin canes still is full of blooms from top to bottom. Maybe since it gets the most sun also :p No disease so far while all other purple roses are full of mites despite 3-4 sprays. Another great quality I noticed is that it blooms below and middle and top so the whole bush is full of roses and it's not even a full year yet!
