Polyscias guilfoylei "Victoria" (Foliage Plant)

This sparsely branched plant belongs to Polynesia. Polyscias can grow up to 20 ft and has fern like serrated leaves (like a saw-tooth). Prune only to remove damaged leaves.

If I remember correctly, this is a very common plant in Karachi (last visited over 10 years back),but hardly seen upcountry.Reasons?

This is perhaps because this plant likes humidity (or rather avoids dry spell).

This is perhaps because this plant likes humidity (or rather avoids dry spell).

I was a very frequent visitor to Karachi in the early 80s & mid/late 90s. Everytime I brought back 8-10 plants-the maximum I could manage in the hand carry,which at times included this plant also. I think it did survive with me, but Croton & Dieffenbachias never did in winters.
