New Member Umer Ashraf. Advice for current plants season

I am a novice in this field but i am planning to decorate my garden in my one canal house. I have found this forum very attractive and useful, thanks to its moderator and developer. Can anybody tell me what are the current options i have in this season (february start) for planting colourful and beautiful flowers(in local names) that keep blossom from march to end may. Also recommend the grass that will be better. Many thanks for your input.

Spring is almost here,which is the best season for flowering annuals in our climate.
As you are novice to the field, i would recommend that you visit nearby nursery and purchase well established seedlings(or even annuals that are ready for flowering/plug plants). You can just plant them at your place and experience the joy of growing as well as learn.

Some very good and common annuals include:-

Pansy, petunia, Snapdragon/Antirrhinum, Stock, Phlox, Gazania, Calendula, Nasturtiums etc ( the list is very long). Buy whatever appeals you. Nursery man have catalog of these flowering plants from which you can select as well.

For grass i would recommend Bermuda/Dhaka grass. But its my opinion. You can visit nursery and see the texture of grass and select which appeals you. Grass season is also round the corner.
