Hey Guys, I just registered with this forum and I am really excited about learning new things and getting feedback on my endeavours.
I live in Karachi and I love gardening, I have an aquaponics system on my terrace which is new right now and I'm growing my own chillis, oregano, mint and coriander in my soil garden. Besides that I love vines and would like to get my hands on some creepers and climbers like the Virginia creepers and/or some garlic vine... Any ideas ... ?

For start you can venture into annual creepers such as Cypres Vine, morning glory and Moonflower. Their season is on.

Re: Hi Everyone
Try Petrea volubilis (Queen's wreath) that is a lovely vine that deserves to be a queen's wreath.Vehshee wrote:Hey Guys, I just registered with this forum and I am really excited about learning new things and getting feedback on my endeavours.

If you wish to go fancy, get hold of "wood rose", Merrimia tuberosa. The seed looks like a real wooden rose. Very beautiful. It is not commonly available, but it is indeed a show piece in the garden. Order it online.
Then there are common ones like trumpet creeper, Campsis radicans with showy orange flowers. And morning glories ae easy to start with.

Welcome Vehahee
...... love it! Queens wreath or Petrea is commonly sold in Lahore as Sweet Patria or Patria. It is also known as sandpaper vine since leaves are like sandpaper. It is a beauty.
