Temperatures are still high in Karachi. You can wait for 10-15 days and then sow/plant cool season annuals. Fall and spring are two best sowing windows
Best soil mix.......depends on the quality of soil of your area. Else you can add ballu mitti, compost and if felt necessary in-organic fertilizer. Key remains good drainage as well as moisture retention ability of the media. For nutrients you can add compost and fertilizers time to time. Pots will require rejuvenation after some time.
Sweet peas will grow in karachi but their life will be short. Start them around mid to late November. They would last around end February after which gradually heat will kill them.
