Hello all,
My name is Faiza and by profession I am graphic designer. gardening is my new found hobby. I have this small terrace in front of my room which I want to turn into a kitchen garden. I am looking for someone who can guide me through it.All have done is got a few plants from a near by nurssery, the gardener there told me to buy a mixture of Baloo mitti and khad. I don't know anything about pesticides or additional fertilizers I should be using. Secondly can any one of you tell me where to get seeds online in Karachi or may is there anyone who sells seeds. Its hard for me to go and get them from market.

Welcome to Gardening Pakistan, all of your questions could be answered by KHI's memebers as I don't know from whre u could get seeds and other stuff in your city, and nursery wala is right bhalu mati and gobar khad is good combination for your vegetables.

Welcome to the forum... I have never purchased seeds online in Karachi but you get the seeds from shop in front of Askari park or from Empress market.

Thanks for the suggestions, I got my seeds from Maman seeds. They are hybrid seeds imported through a company called skarta I guess. I have planted the seeds of capsicum, cheery tomatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, spinach, cucumber and onions on 30 June. Lets see if I have done it right and if they will germinate or not.
