I am Farah from Karachi. I am growing few vegetables and plants in my balcony in containers. My house is west open and gets sunlight of atleast 4-6 hours in my balconies. I also have some containers placed at home entrance on ground floor and want to make a ground bed now over there. but have problem of ground bees that are nesting in pots over there. I tried borax, vinegar and neem tee solutions one after another but problem remains there. I also transfered few plants into new pots but the bees started nesting in new ones too. Would appreciate if someone can suggest some solution. I don't want to use inorganic solution.
I also want to ask that what should be the suitable pot size for Moon flower plant and can I grow it along with Ipomea as one is perennial and another is annual.

Jazak Allah khairan

Walekumussalam. Welcome to the forum!

What are ground bees? Maybe if I know what they are I can help you!

And about pots for moonflower and morning glory,I tried them in big pots (7 gallons) but they didn't do so well. They do their best in the ground. You could try them in pots, but give them a good khaad/mitti mix. And make a tee-pee of sort and pinch early on to get a fuller looking plant.

Best of luck!

So I shouldn't plant both alongside. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.
To my limited knowledge are Ground bees are kind of wasp, they nest in ground by digging up.
that sting when you go near them, and while doing godi in my pots they sting me too. so what should I do let them reside over there!!
