61th Annual Flower Show, Karachi

Like last year the Annual Flower show has been organized near McDonalds at Seaview from 23rd Feb 2012 till 26th Feb 2012. It will be good if we can arrange a group visit there.

Will you allow the forum to hand out posters from your stall? Posters about the forum of course

I think it is a great idea. I would love to see as many gardeners as much out there under this platform. As soon as the date and time is confirmed,let know so that i will post on facebook gardening related groups.

I am sure adnan will help us in this regard.

Johara,Khabbab ... I have already talked to Mir Afzal Khan abt this.I didn't pay for the stall as the organizers alloted me the space complimentary and I am going there on their invitation. I don't know if they ll allow me to spread the word about this forum as they are also running the HSP, a gardening society. I'll have to inquire first before I say YES.

The posters and handbills are ready (thanks to Mir Afzal Sb.)

Now I want suggestions on the sites where the posters can be placed in Karachi. Another thing I would like to suggest that as the quantity of the handbills are limited so it may be a good idea to give them to the hobbyists only rather than to everyone.. when we visit the stalls we can easily identify the hobbyist from those who are buying plants as decoration items only...

I will be going there inshaAllah on Thursday after opening ceremony and again on Saturday for the photography, hope we all will meet there on Saturday...

How many posters do we have and how many hand bills?
I think we can place posters at Universities such as Zabist for example. At some clubs that will allow us to do so, maybe the Karachi Gymkhana. I think we can talk about placement of posters when we meet on Saturday.
