Re: Palm Trees
A very good topic for discussion. Can anybody help me to improve cane palm? Issue is: my palms leaves are getting dry at the edges and new leaves are very slow to grow. Plz advise which fertizer or plant food should be provided. Here are some pics of these indoor cane palms.

Re: Palm Trees
first of all i think they are placed in very low light. Move to brighter location or even full sun now a days.

As Farhan has said, the light levels are extremely low in your room. You can note excessive and unhealthy elongation of the stems when the poor plant is trying to find light by getting taller (etiolation process). I have a indoor palm and due to very short daylight times I keep it under white tubelight. It is doing very well underneath the tubelight. May be change the soil, before you move to new bright location because your pot soil looks waterlogged.irfan.siddique wrote:A very good topic for discussion. Can anybody help me to improve cane palm? Re: Palm Trees
Farooq and Farhan Thanks for quick response.
There is no issue of light coz in night I have arranged energy saver right on top of this plant and in day enough light in this room.
ofcourse theses canes should move outside in full sun. They are in same pot and soil for one year so need to change soil and pot.
I have "Bhal (Canal soil)" and leave fertilizer for Pot filling. Is it fine for changing?
