I got cleodendrum thomsonid varigatum last year from overseas. It has been suffering and this winter I thought it died but apparently it was only deciduous. Now it is dormant due to heat. Some plants need to established before they can perform in Lahore and this is not always easy when you have smaller plants. This is the reason that if I find a rare plant in Lahore whose success is doubtful I will usually buy the biggest specimen the nursery has to increase chances of survival.

It does not survive the winters of Lahore, Islamabad and plains of Punjab. Karachi may be a better option.
