Extremely fast growing potted vines?

Post by Khirmun »

Hello guys
I am trying to find the best (hardy/cheap) very growing vines in full sunny area in a pot. I'm a novice in the terrestrial plant hobby but so go a bit easy on me. The vines have to be easily available in Karachi. Or if someone is willing to sell his or trade his for my aquatic plants (you wont be disappointed, my collection has been marveled by a lot of people) I'd be very happy. Also does this group have a want to sell/want to buy section?

Thank you. It's a gorgeous plant. Any more vines? I want to grow some vines in a single pot/cage. With a mix of big and small leaves. Growth rate isnt important but they should tolerate some sun.

Khirmun, you can ask for "ishq pechan" vine which is a type of morning glory. All morning glories grow extremely fast even in small pots. I have seen vines as long as 15 feet in 7 inch pot only.

Ok. I do not like Taiz gam. It looks very weird. What are the other common name of morning glories?

I cannot find a vine called Taizgam or Ishq Pecha at the local nurseries, the nursery staff say they don't know about it and advise me to get Alamanda or Jhoomer/Sehra instead.

I need a low maintenance, sun loving vine. Where can I find morning glory/Taiz gam vine?
