Hosta anyone?
Is anyone growing Hostas? I had them in my garden in the US and they did well in temp reaching 40. Wondering if they would fare well in Karachi.

I always wanted to grow them but they just wouldn't survive in Lahore.Karachi, they may well succeed.

Hostas are available in Karachi... but few varieties only... they perform well under semi-shade conditions and also bloom, mild scented white blooms...

A new Hosta came out for 2012 and it will be happy in zone 9 USA. Remember all hosta love the shade and late evening or early morning sun. I have about tweenty different varities in IL. USA. One has a leaf size of about two feet radious. The smallest I have is one inch leaf.
