Question about Air Purifying Plants

Asalaam o Alikum
I was searching the internet and found out an article about indoor air purifying plants, and surprised to know that the research was done by NASA; and they recommended to use such plants indoors to filter and make the air clean

Can anyone suggest which one of these plants can be grown in our environment and are available in local nurseries?

Except for 2 or 3, all the plants on the list are available at local nurseries, ofcourse the local names are a bit different, have most of them at home. Thanks for the info though.

Rubber Plant, Areca Palm, Boston Fern, Spider Plant, Philodendron (Heartleaf), Gerbera, Weeping Fig, Red-Edged Dracaena & Golden Pothos (Money Plant)

Dear Friends thanks for the answers and comments, after some more research I found out that out of all the list from Wikipedia Peace Lily is best among all for indoors under shade, I was planning to put a pot in my bedroom can anyone tell the local name of this plant so that I can find it easily

I have another question about the Golden Pothos (Money Plant) I have seen it several times but their leaf size and colors are different sometimes, is this because of their soil condition or are they different verities.

i am not a 100 % sure but i think peace lilly is locally "scala", maybe the other members can better help you with the local name. I wouldnt recommend it for lahore i bought these a few years ago, didnt survive the lahore weather.

The spider plant helps to reduce indoor air pollution. Peace lillie is a zone 9 plant.Here in the States Commonly used as an indoor plant. Peace Lily, Spathiphyllum, is a very popular indoor houseplant. In the warmest parts of Florida, Spathiphyllum is happy in the landscape in the shade, and with protection from wind and never temperatures below 55 degree. It should be ok in Lahore and Kharachi.
Spathiphyllum is a clump-growing herbaceous perennial which produces white or green-white spaths during the warm months. Leaves are shiny and gloss.
Care is easy if you fertilize lightly during all the warm months. Make sure the soil is free of nematodes, otherwise, any decent mix is OK. Soil should be kept lightly moist, never wet. It is best to water thoroughly, likely once a week. Let the soil dry out almost completely between waterings indoor.
