My mum loves the smell of that white flowers the street vendors sell by the street vendors called "Khaliyah" in pakistan. The ones you put in your hair or made as a wrist band too. They are absolutely beautiful and I love them too. I was trying to find the english names for them & if able to get them in the UK as a plant. She loves the smell of them and would love a perfume that smelt just like it, can any1 help me plz, really appreciate it

I think you are asking of Motia.its called Jasminum Sambac.it has many varieties.i think motia is the variety Arabian nights of Jasminum Sambac.there is another one with large flowers Grand Duke its called mongra motia in Urdu.The flower size is extra ordinary large.

Which language word is ""Khaliyah" ? The description seems to fit the Jasminum sambac as Umar sahab has mentioned. Google doesn't seem to associate this name with any flower!

i think she mean to say KALIYAN i.e. "buds"........
