Yellowing is a symptom of iron deficiency in soil and high pH (if local weather is not the cause).

No.

Cotton (the true one) is Gossypium sp but there is another cotton tree "Ceiba" called sembhal in Urdu. The tree bears large red flowers which eventually end up in cotton like mass..used in expensive pillow making.
Curious about the biscuit plant. Do you have a picture?

I have Pelgoraiums, i keep them indoors near window during summer , otherwise they are dead in summer heat, they loose leaves during indoors due to lack of light and became weak, but in Septemebt i shift them outside and they resume, Pelgoriniums are tough plants , they never die unless there is a reason major enough. I do the same for Geraniums as well.

1) The first picture is not most likely not cotton (Gossypium) because cotton leaves are different. No idea. Neither it is cotton silk tree.

2) The second picture with purple flowers, is Duranta. I never heard of it being called Biscuit plant :-). Do the nurserymen call it biscuit plant?

@ Syed Adnan.......Beautiful...that's what i dream when i see pelargoniums ....Mine are outside in partial sun.....so i guess i need to bring them in
Can they be propagated by cutting BTW?

@ M Farooq......Thanks for the ID yes they call it Biscuit plant and infact it does smell like that

Forsure they can be propagated by cutting but i never used as Geraniums are commonly available here in winter at very cheap price.
