AoA. I am facing problems with these white insects which are almost on my all plants and destroying them. Here are pics of my mango tree and sunflower plant. Please advise.

sir these are mealy bugs a hot topic now a days.at this stage they cannot be destroyed because they create powdery mildew around them so no pesticide can kill them ..although umar khan sb say that imeda cloprid can kill them but i think it is very difficult to spray on large trees like mango.but dont worry good thing is this that it is last stage of their life they will come down from trees and lay eggs in the nearby soil.they will vanish in month of may.but problem is this that they kill the flowers and Small mangoes in this time.i am competing with them from last 4 years.this year my mango trees are safe because i rolled the brown packaging tape around mangoes trees in December when mealybugs nymphs(small mealybugs of brown color)come out and start their journey so they slip and were unable to climb on tree although few were able to climb the tree but they are few so no destruction.along with it i used mortein powder around all trees which is effective on little nymphs.

These are mealybugs.spray Bayer,s Movento or Acceta meprid.they will kill these scales very effectively.

I am late in putting tape on root of tree, let me try the treatment suggested by Khan Sb.

i have a solution which iv tried on my plants and found out tremendous results, i have a comparison before spray and after spray on an ornamental plant in a lawn last week in Lahore. This solution was found equally good and effective on my mango tree last season. You may try any time, any where on any specie of mealy bugs, the good news is that the spray is completely harmless for humans, soil, fruits, vegetables and environment.
