Dear Fellow members,
I would like you to ask for some suggestions regarding my germinated seeds of Okra, Tomato, Cucumber and Chillies, I have grown all of them from seeds. And they sprouted so well.. I sowed them around a month ago but now I feel like their growth suddenly stops.. Some of my tomato seedlings are dying and few luckily survived due to a coincidence. I have all of them in seed pots and I haven't transplanted them yet. . I wana show you the pics of them. Can you please suggest me what should I do .. To make them grow well..
pics are here....
All seeds are grown indoor .. i live in karachi so didnt put in open sunlight as i am affraid they would die. i just put them in sulight for few hours not directly just in my Baramda...
Swoing Date 29th April (Chillies)

I feel that they are suffering from few things
Poor ventilation
Poor lighting conditions(seedlings are searching for light hence growth tall & lanky)
Damping off
Too close sowing
Place them in a airy location where you get morning sun
Water only once the media is dry.
If damping off has set in as it appears nothing much can be done.
You can attempt transplanting remaining seedlings in a better medium void of fungus.
In hot weather seedlings do not like such close sowing and will fail after transplanting.

Regarding the plastic tray...that is visible behind in your picture.
In my experience its a big big failure. You will see GORAS growing seeds wonderfully in it. But their medium is awesome and free of disease. We you use ordinary garden soil, due to poor drainage because of plastic material this is a perfect recipe for killing your seeds and seedlings.
For me i will never use it unless i have some really good sowing media which has good drainage.

@ Dear Farhan Sb saying right, first thing is lack of poor ventilation mean during germination process seed require fresh air. As picture shows your pot in whole day inside Barmada place it due to hot weather. The second thing as you says palce in outside for sunlight. When is place it outside your seeds needs a lot of light because whole day place in Baramda this may cause seeds tall and lanky. It better you place your pots in open place where morning light required for 2 to 3 hours. Morning time normally in Karachi 5AM to 8AM. Before and after this time your soil not to be dry. Misting before and after and rotoate position of pot. This is my simple suggestion might possible, the seed showing in picture may appropriate growth. The seed which can grow proper place in pot and others seed have poor and lanking dicard or removed from pot.
But I don't know, What kind of soil you can use and its combination of soil, sand and patho ke khad and pots drainage.
Best Regards
Asim
