I've been interested in plumeria since I got into gardening. Very few varieties available in Lahore. Last year I got lucky and bought one with amazingly beautiful flowers and fragrance (picture posted). I was hoping friends from Karachi, where I've heard there are a lot of exotic Thai varieties available, will be able to show us some pictures of blooming plumeria available in Karachi now and maybe later if I like those plumerias I can ask those nurseries to ship to Lahore. Thanks.

ASA,

This is pink Plumeria which did very well in Karachi. Fragrance is unique, but like that of a light cologne :-)

Regards.

Got the ID for my plumeria from Dave's garden and it is Penang Peach. Plumerias are exceptional in that they are probably the only trees which are intensely fragrant with showy flowers and amenable to pot culture. Hopefully some other members can join Mu enthusiasm about these beauties so the search can begin :)

I am also interested in rare and fragrant plumeria but not easily available in lahore.

@Aykhan, there is a very beautiful tri-color plumeria at the gate of Mayo gardens lahore. I will try to find its pic on my blog. It was too high i could not reach it so not sure how fragrant it was. but flower color had so many shades, just exquisite.

It would be nice to see the flower of that plumeria. I doubt they will be willing to give cuttings if we desire.
