I have around 30 chili plants covering three varieties. Lately I have observed that the new growth on almost all the plants is suffering heavily. Leaves are curled and somewhat de-shaped. They are also smaller in size and bad textured. The old leaves underneath are large and healthy. All the plants are either on flower or fruit. I dont know wat is going on. Please help!!! :( :( :( :(

It could be 'Leaf curl virus' it happens in wet rainy seasons when plant disease pathogens are most active... Deficiency of some nutrients also lead to leaf curl like 'Boron'

Prune the infected part and spray with a diluted fungicide.

If one doesnt prune the infected part would it be useless to spray fungicide? I mean is pruning necessary?
