hello.. it's almost the end of winter here in karachi.. can you people guide me what to sow these days for spring n in general.. i'm interested in vegetables n flowering plants.. please do answer.. i've got myself seeds of phlox,petunia,dahlia,gerbera..is it ok to sow them now? and do tell me about which vegetable seeds and any other flowers if so

I afraid you are late for Spring flowering plants, now you could prepare for summer flowering, and if you don't want to miss the Spring season then the best way is to buy prepared seedlings from the nursery because sowing time was fall and its gone already and I hope members from KHI will add as they know the best according to KHI climate.

Now summer season is arriving so make preparations, flowering plants will include:

1) Zinnia
2) Vinca
3) Cosmos
4) Gaillardia
5) Balsam
6) Sunlfowers
7) Celosia
8) Cock's comb
9) Amaranthas
10) Morning glory vines

Vegges include:

1) Lady finger
2) Chillies
3) Melons
4) Beans
5) Squash
6) Courgettes

thanks for the help i wasn't there in the city to sow in fall/winter so yup im going to do that now for summer ...thanx alot
