i bought some cucumber seeds last year they sprouted but all the plants died now this year none of the seeds are sproughting
i need major help
please

Buy fresh seeds from the shop, sow seeds in well porous, loamy soil and not in compact or hard soil. Dont sow seed deeply in the soil. cucumber seeds are small and thin. after spreading seeds on the soil, just put light soil or compost like cocoa peat. if u sow deeply in the soil they will never sprout out.

After sowing seeds, carefully water the soil slightly with the help of spray water bottle or fountain, that seeds dont get disturb. if u r growing in container or pot then cover ur pot with the polythene or plastic transparent sheet so that moisture retain in the soil.

actually i think my soil needs to be some more draining . r u sure i should buy a new packet of seeds?

The bhal (river soil) or loamy soil is a good soil for the plant. They are porous and aerated. U can make it more rich and porous by adding 1 part of organic matter like well rotted leaf or animal manure and 1 part of well fine sand.

U have to buy new seeds bcoz ur previous year stored seeds may not be anymore vigor and viable to germinate.
