Zinnia propagation

A question for annual experts, can I propagate Zinnia through cuttings, if yes, then what is the right method and time.
guidance requested.

Zinnia can be propagated through cuttings, simple poke a three inch branch with terminal growth in plain soil, cover it with plastic bag, within 15 days it will develop roots ... keep pinching the flower buds...

Izhar can we propagate Chrysanthemum using the same method?
