When is the best time to prune Braunfelsia and gardenia to make bushy according to karachi environment?

This is my gardenia which needs pruning.

This type of Gardenia needs to be pinched by tips... which can be done during whole summer season... Brunfelsia trimming after its blooming season i.e. March-April..

Didn't understand 'pinched by tips', u means cut d branch's top only?
This is d 1st time i got to know about gardenia, nurseryman told me that it will have large flower not small. I bought this near diamond nursery in 1000Rs. Plz tell me more about this type of gardenia. If i want to prune this then should i cut its all branches 3-4 inches above the soil? Watch carefully my gardenia pic b4 answering.
I saw some pruning videos on YouTube n i want d same bushy gardenia just like d video had.
I will plant d cuttings in a separate pot by using honey as rooting harmone n will cover d pot for 18-20 days by plastic bag n place inside my room.

If you want to propagate it then take 3-4 inch long tip cuttings... otherwise just take out the growing tip with help of your index finger and thumb..

This is Gardenia taitenses "Heaven's Scent" it does not become bushy like Gardenia jasminoides..

First step, train your Gardenea ( put stakes and pull up the trailing branches vertically), second step, pinch the growing tips at the top.

Shoul i place my gardenia in full sun or semi shade?
I saw a video on YouTube in which Gardenia taitense looks like a full bushy shrub.

Semi shade in Lahore.
Bushy shrub, yes if in ground in 20 years.
