Reading between the lines I gather that Chilling is used by the industry to induce blooming and certain bulbs must get certain amount of chilling before re-blooming.
Which bulbs must have chilling and for how long to induce blooming? Is what I would like to know.

Chill hours are necessary for large number of plants for flowering/fruiting. Heaps of information available over web to find chill hours for any specific plant. Now you can plant apples and mangoes at same place as some new varieties of apples do not need chill hours. Its just selection not GMO..
