Haven't updated this in a while. The bulb remained green thought the winter and continues to be so.

Bulb has been behaving weird. It seemed to go dormant and I thought it would remain dormant in this heat. However just a few days after becoming leafless it sprouted again! Doesn't seem to mind heat and responds well to water.

khan sb you are growing a difficult to flower plant.here is a quote from the web which tells that it blooms after a fire.

Like its cousin the rain lily (Zephyranthes), Ammocharis coranica will respond rapidly to watering by growing new leaves and blooming. Gardeners can stimulate 3 or 4 separate flowering events with properly spaced irrigation. In its native habitat it often blooms after a fire, but that does not mean you have to burn your backyard. About six years ago I received one bulb of this plant from Germany but it did not adjust in our climate yet. I think bulb size is reduced with the passage of time.

These bulbs take several years to flower. When I got mine it was flowering size. Maybe yours was smaller. Takes a year or two to build a root system and if the roots are not disturbed in this time it should flower. This bulb has a mood of its own probably because it is still adjusting to the climate here. My medium is canal silt plus sand plus Keri 2:1:1 and absolutely no fertilizer. The pot is the biggest me available and I haven't moved the pot since I plant it. Full sun. If mine blooms this year then you'll know that the above mentioned works.

These are good suggestions and I hope will helpful for me. I kept my plant under part shade and this is the main reason for its slow growth. I am going to shift the container under full sun.
