Umar Khan sahib I got this Uncarina last year from Abbas Nursery in Model Town, Lahore. I look around for rare plants so when I saw this I knew what it was. I think I got it for Rs 1500. I have not seen it since then. Like you said if one finds something good you should buy it right away since you might never see it again. Khan sahib I will keep an eye out for it. If I see it this summer or monsoon again at Abbas I will let you know. It is an unusual plant since it likes water a lot despite having a caudex! When it's dry the leaves fall, you water it and they rise crisp again. Also incredible flowering power.

Uncarinas need to be protected against termites which are attracted towards them.

Really great collection Khan Sb. BTW, this flower https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/q ... bedwebsite is a huge specimen tree in lawrence gardens lahore. I captured it few years back but could not ID it. Is it Uncarina?

The flowers are remarkably similar. Not sure how tall it can grow. Do you recall the leaves and the caudex?
