Re: Summer 2013 story....
Thanks Syed Adnan Saheb. We post pics all the time so I always try to add a little description to provide whatever information I have gained from personal experience. After all it's others experience shared on this forum that has made me a better gardner today.

Dr Sab
You have nice collection of hibiscus, I never fell in love with this plant but your collection made me happy. BTW from where have you bought these?

A heart warming story, next a travel through your garden showing all that you have collected and are growing would not only be very educating but also very inspiring, If Dr. A Y Khan can grow it why cant I.
Keep IMPORTING

Brig Saheb yes indeed a visit is in in order. It is more inspiring in pictures though. So far just clearing the area getting ready for winter plantations. I plan on lots of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils this year and limit myself to petunia and salvia mostly. Salvia for the shady areas.

absolutely beautiful and gorgeous collection. Attractive blooms too.
Dr. Sb did you tried to propagate Cajun hibiscus or any other hibiscus you have? All are imported ones or have you got some locally?

Re: Summer 2013 story....
All are imported. None of them are grafted and they are not as aggressive as the parent rosa-sinensis. Two bushes seemed reasonably sized to take cuttings but they all failed. Will be more vigilant next year since these hybrids are very difficult to root.
