These are Pancratium Martimum ( Sea Daffodils), they always bloom before growing leaves. Normally they are dormant in summer and bloom as the rains start. I pulled these bulbs out and planting got delayed. These were planted on 9/8/13 on my return. I have offered the bulbs to any one who can collect them from my home.

The normal bloom is,
Compare it with Today's bloom. The roses keep blooming but their best is only in spring

Brig Saheb I recommend breaking off all buds in summer since flowers take energy away from roots. If you do this (already late) you'll see spectacular displays in the Fall before winter dormancy.
