Those were perhaps annuals, any way they did not survive.

I am thinking to stop growing Summer annuals. It is too hot here in Lahore for any thing to put up a good show.
Vinca, Cosmos, Coks comb, Balsom,none is worth the effort.
Wouldn't it be better to give the potting soil and my self rest during summer?

The picture is not showing the true colour it is actually dark maroon. I have not been able to locate its name, it was purchased from Adnan 5 years ago. It is supposed to be a slow growing dwarf.
