Thankx for the appreciation.
Alocasia (Kris Plant) is very interesting plant, presently it has produced 8 leaves, i put it near south window and it loved the sun coming through it. It dies back in winter but re-appear in summer. It needs the rest period.
Presently i have 10 Freesias with different colours and what i have noticed is every color has different fragrance.
Gerberas are good but only annuals as they will die in Summer heat here. But when i was in Lahore they used to live throughout the year.
Kindly if someone could help me to resolve the issue of soil, fertilizer and watering, here is KSA we have good gardening acesories available but gardening guidelines are missing, iam struggling with my blubs specially Hycinths, IRIS and Renunculs.

As the climate there is warmer so I think it will be difficult to sustain Hyacinths and Irises, but Ranunculus can be grown in cooler season.. bulbs/tubers dont need fertilizers for the first month of their growth, then a diluted fertilizer with high Phosphorus number can be used.
Generally speaking, the bulbs have fat roots which require a medium with good drainage, they are happy when pot bound. Tubers and Rhizomes have thin and well branched roots and doesnt require a fast draining medium..
