The cuttings were taken in August or the mother plants sown in August ?
How do you take and propagate cuttings?

Aoa Arif sb I seeds were sown in mid August.cuttings taken in first week of Sep. Sir the night temps are above 17C so the plants from seedlings will not remain compact n dwarf. In order to gain compact plants cuttings are important.the second batch is also from cuttings. The third n fourth as the night temp drops to 17C no need of cuttings. The seedlings develope compact plants.
