shining stars :).
Enjoying the benefits of early sowings, violated traditional sowing time and got success.
But IMHO your protection against frost has also some contribution in good growth and Masha-Allah good flowering at very start.

Farhan i think your Nemesia is carnival mix.If i am not wrong then its not F-1. Only F-1 Nebula & F-1 Sun drops are two F-1 hybrids. KLM & Danish flags are also F-1 but with specific color combinations.Cut back one the first flash of blooms is over & feed with liquid fertilizer.

@Tahir...Well actually, this garden is not visible to passersby because of green sheet, only few are aware what is going inside :P, however i plan to open it up to public in Spring, with a complimentary cup of tea :P :D

But they do see a BOTA running here & there quite often ...hahahaha

In fall, through a community change, gardens were bulldozed for a more symmetric look.....last year's spring pictures helped me fight my case and retain the plot as it is, even with an exclusive permission to keep the boundary erected which is not permitted otherwise

@S. Ahmed, Yes. Mesembry till late march if deadheaded regularly, whereas Nasturtium even till late April.

Tomorrow North will face the brunt of first good rain maybe, So preparations underway, three key points i will be tending to are, covering the plants which are in full bloom to avoid flower damage, replacement of pots/container which have poor drainage and staking of taller plants.
Its Sunday, a free one after a long time so lets have a big update.

Here it is Tahir Bhai, Sweetpeas, Heirloom are coming to climax, achieving around 10+ feet of height, whereas F-1s apparently late bloomers, are still growing phase. I am anxiously waiting for them, for instance sweet dreams cultivar claimed 52 separate colors, and streamer..a larger bloom. Fingers crossed.

Some new colors in F-1 coming up

Schizianthus(Poor man's orchid), what else one wants completely smothered with flowers

Anemones, its my first attempt with them but for sure not last.

Bellis is English Lawn weed, Fire & forget plant, a must for beginners.

It is interesting to note that double flowered stock is sterile and only single flowered bears seeds. Dwarf cultivars are multi branching were as taller sends only one spike.

Erysimum

Wild Nemesia

Primulas
This year in nurseries were available double flowered Primulas, Bought few, blooming since long. Keep them moist and in shade. Avoid water touching the flower at all cost.

Similarly were available Primula Malacoides (Rs.60-150 depending upon nursery), and seeing them bloom their heart out i think its a must have plant, even if it behaves as an annual.

:o Where have you been hiding all these jewels.

The first pic of sweet peas in your latest post is exactly what i was talking about

I see that you have rebel'd against the state by holding onto your piece of land ;)

Don't open it for the public, the'll ruin it  you can set up a large screen and use a projector to display your garden pics with of course a complimentary cup of tea and snacks maybe :P

One other thing..streamers sweet peas are awesome :geek:

BTW my sunrise annual lupin is also on bloom :)

Will visit the seed store soon to buy all the remaining packets of Lupins for forum members.
