Beautiful!
Hamad, please rechech if your Marigolds are French(Jaffary) type, rather than African Tagettes-Inca. Also, is Vanila F1 flower of the same size as the other MG colours, because I earlier thought this variety generally had smaller flowers than others ?

Yes Munir sb you are right Vanilla, Sweet cream or French vanilla all are from the African group. The first strain was introduced by Niker son Zwaan UK as Vanilla White. The blooms are smaller as compared to the other colors. Frankly speaking i don,t like this color, although i plant some every year to enhance the African color.I first plated this variety in 1998 at Abbotabad.Inca & Marvel are the best in my personal opinion.

Thanks all :)

This year my plan was to have all three colours, as my last year experience was really good, I managed to get incas and they bloomed profusely and for quite a long time, but unfortunately this year my mali arranged seedling for Yellow and Orange from a local nursery and he deceived him and gave him some other variety and they didnt turn to be half Yellow and Orange according to the plan because he bought quite a few pots, my mali told me most blooms are Orange :(.

For Vanilla F1 I have arranged seeds from Thompson and Morgan, germination 90% and result quite satisfactory, eventhough their location is not so healthy they are west facing where they recieve late afternoon sun for few hours.

I m planning to get seeds in all three colours from same source or may be from another cheaper supplier to get better results and satisfaction for next year inshAllah.

Beautiful Marigolds. Is French vanilla color is commonly available?
