Hi everyone, i have recently found a very interesting variety of Amaryllis known as 'Hippeastrum reticulatum'. Can anyone help me confirm if it is available in Karachi or elsewhere in Pakistan.

It will be extremely difficult to find such bulbs here and you will never be sure if you got the right thing. I have used telos bulbs in the past in the USA for similar exotics. They are reliable but they are expensive and bulbs are usually tiny. They have many amaryllis I would love to have as you can see from the link

Another exotic rare amaryllis is a Japanese vendor Komoriya. They only ship from Japan and have really exotic amaryllis..

Sir, these are too expensive

and some of them, my favourites including Hippeastrum parodii are seedling bulbs

Thanks Izhar bhai, i have a feeling that there are rare amaryllis available in Karachi somewhere, please check for other rare bulbs, plants etc. as well

I agree. Telos is ridiculously expensive for the size of their bulbs. However, they do have stuff which is hard to get anywhere else in the USA online and even beyond. If one is desperate for something chances are they might have it.

Where did u buy the plant from izhar Sahab?

It is not rare in Karachi, you have to look for it as maali dont know the name, they just call it lily..
