I bought an Adenium recently and re potted it in a mixture of sand (light brown Karachi wali) and manure, watered it thoroughly, and placed in semi shade, yesterday I saw its leaves turning yellow. I move it to full sun and today I had this.( pic attached) Can any adenium expert explain the continuous yellowing of leaves ? I read it is because of over watering, but I watered it just once. Also I am not sure if this pot is really suitable for adenium, it isn't very deep or wide either.

P.S pot has good drainage.

Actually I made a mistake. When I saw this plant at the nursery I should have 1st asked the assistant mali what was it ? Instead I asked him isnt it gardenia ? he then, maybe confirmed from the owner, but they communicated in pushto which i coudnot understand. Later, again when I inquired about it from the owner he said 'gardenia he hai gee.' And I got it.
Lets hope it blooms asap, so this mystery can be solved.

Now i understand, the nursery worker was pashtoon. This plant is commonly propagated in Guli bagh,Mardan for whole sale purposes.the nurser men at Mardan call it Gardenia.but actually this is Flore plano,Chandna.Haris let me tell you our local nursery men are different for the same plant.e.g American,Dhaka,Fine Dhaka,China are different names for the same grass you will find on net as Bermuda.its real name Brmuda.if ask for Rangoon climber the nursery man will not even refuse but if u ask jhumka bail he can offer 100s of potted plants.Brig sb is very right its not Gardenia.
