Both are Celosias, Cockscomb is common Name.
First is Celosia Cristata (Cockscomb)
2nd Celosia argentea (Plumed Cockscomb)

I agree with you ,except that I ll call the 2nd as Celosia Plumosa. I had named them as per ' More Green Catalogue'- whose seeds I have used, which mentions Celosia Cristata as simple Cockscomb & the 2nd as Celosia Plumosa.

Hamad, you are most welcome; it would be a pleasure.
But keep in mind, pictures could be deceptive;therefore, ground situation may not be as good.

IP:
It is not the time for Amaltas bloom, but two of my plant have some flowers on them.
Can the plants/nature also get out of step or do they keep changing their cycle? 2 more instances:
One of my grapes vines has now grown 2 fruit bunches-small though, off season just 8 weeks after its annual harvesting in end-Jun.

Similarly,2 Chinese lemon trees in ground have grown full sized fruit since Jun/Jul- much in advance, but which doesn't ripen - probably is thus diseased as per an horticulture expert,as against normal bearing period starting late Oct.I may be a little off in dates,as I haven't kept a record.(Interestingly, as per NARC literature,Chinese Lemon grown in containers bears fruit round the year,as against for a few months if grown in ground- God knows why.)

July picture.

Does the off season phenomenon happen, often? Can anyone please comment/explain ?

The Chinese lemon trees are most productive lemon variety and perform better if grown in a soil bed and mine which are in ground bear fruit round the year.
