The first one is a beauty amongst beauties,
I spray them for fungus, the leaves develop rust colour specially the under side killing the plant.
I want to shift some gerbras, when would be the right time?

The fungus is a real bother these days and since last year the attack of fungus has even taken a toll on Kungi Palm trees which till last year used to be immune from fungus.

The current time is ideal for shifting Gerberas. If shifted the gatchi should not be broken. They can also be shifted around middle of February.

Gerberas are slowly coming to bloom. Below are some photos of my Gerberas during the spring and they have never been given any fertilizer.

My experience is same as Brig sahebs. I have not been able to keep mine alive or healthy. The rains killed off the remaining so I am discarding this plant.

JungFrau Gerbera. I purchased this cultivar around 2007 but it died within 2 years. Managed to obtain this cultivar again and it has been in ground for almost an year.
