The following is the only file photo i have of a Kniphofia flower. The second image is of the same Kniphofia variety. Third and fourth are different cultivars.

The buds are of day lily, do show the picture when they open.

Sir i agree with you that buds appear to be of a reblooming daylily variety and shall post the pictures when they open.

Your post dated 14/12/13 and 22/7/15 give the impression tht the buds of Dec. 2013 have finally bloomed in July 2015, :lol:

Indeed you are right Brig Sahib about the mystery of the 14/12/13 buds and it was an interesting switchover from Daylily to Kniphofia. :P
