Re: Gerberas
Actually this year none of the nurseries have imported 'Tissue Culture Gerbera' from the 'Florist' distributor based in India. Normally the two main nurseries which import tissue culture Gerbera are 'Lahore Nursery & Abbas Nursery' based here in Lahore. it appears more probably that they will import the Gerberas in August this year. Shall post an announcement if i hear any news. I would suggest avoiding the seed grown Gerbera owning to their higher mortality rate. The two main Gerbera seed companies are Goldsmith and Sakata. In case of you are unable to find any tissue culture gerberas then opt for the local gerberas more hardier and cheaper.
P.S. Haji Ibrahim owner of Changa Nursery is a major supplier of cut tissue culture Gerberas to local florist shops and he may have some stock for sale. I remember that Adnan Sardar had imported some tissue culture Gerbera some time ago. Perhaps he may have some.
About the rest of the nurseries i am not sure.

Re: Gerberas
The gerberas i bought are from Punjab (they are planted in same hard soil like roses)... lets see how they perform... on you advice in other thread i went to Gloria jeans for their coffee ground waste, they were so reluctant and totally refused to handover me.. from McDonald i faced the similar problem but the manager finally gave me a small bag full as i was their customer, i planted one of the gerbera in a soil mixed with handful of coffee grounds...
